WARNING KENNEL COUGH OUTBREAK Empty WARNING KENNEL COUGH OUTBREAK

Hi yall
There has recently been a kennel cough (canine infectious Tracheobronchitis) outbreak at nottingham dog training club and in the nottingham area. This particular strain seems to have an incubation of 9-10 days unlike the common strain which usually incubates 3-7 days.
For those who are not aware of symptoms they are a hoarse cough accompanied either or by nasal or throat excretions ( foamy white phlegm) plus other symptoms such as lethargy are apparant. It is highly infectious, being spread by indirect or direct contact with infected dogs.
Please inform people at the training club please to make them aware that this is going around. Thanks
Paris and a rather miserable Clover

*If you must walk dogs out with kennel cough, use a harness to reduce irritation to the throat area and restrict them to on leash ambles in low canine use areas*
