.........we all had to start somewhere.
This forum is dedicated to our members who have just started out in their showing career, no doubt there will be many questions that need to be asked so please....."fire away"!
Remember our rules and we look forward to discussing our training and helping in whatever manner we can.

Best Wishes

In the beginning........ Empty training

hi Maryann,
Welcome to our forum and our little community of Yew Tree Canine.
i think to be honest that when u come and see us at training we will get a better picture of what we and you need to be achieving to get the very best out of youself and your dog or dogs.
We definately always advise simple obedience, gives good direction for the young dog and a good routine also.
Most things associated to showing like standing your dog, presentation, lead work and movement will all come naturally with the effort you put into training with you and your dog.
We will give you every help possible, sometimes one to one and sometimes in a group environment.
Socialising not just your dog or puppy but also for you when u are out in the spotlight showing your dog in a ring from just a plain open show, champ show or even Crufts!
One thing i must say is that along side the basics of obedience, whenever you get the oppertunity please try and walk your puppy or dogs on both sides of you using just the one hand per each side.....this will aid your dog to move in a straight line.

Thats all 4 now so take care and we look forward to seeing you at one of our training nights.

PS...please keep visiting our website as im forever putting new pics on and updating the training calendar.

Best Wishes
