Rosettes at championship shows
Why oh why do they not give out rosettes for 1-3 placing in each class at championship shows? I have only attended two championship shows as I am new to showing and I have not seen any rossettes for class placings? Why is this when we pay £20+ for our entries, simple rossettes are not expensive so I don't see no reason why they are not doing so? open shows almost always have rosettes for placings with much cheaper entries so I don't see the excuse. Is this everyone's experience? Rossettes look much nicer on the wall than placement cards

Re: Rosettes at championship shows
Hi Paris,
At all-breed champ shows they just give out cards and not rosettes. It is a cheek really seeing as we have each paid about £20 or more for our entries. It is sometimes the same with all-breed open shows too. If I get placed at a champ show in a good class I like to buy a rosette from one of the stalls as a rememberance of the day. You can also buy crufts qualified rosettes.
At breed champ shows you do tend to get rosettes.
Well done on your placings so far, good luck for future shows!!

RE: Rosettes at champs
Hiya Hayley
I didn't know you could buy rosettes at the show? do you just buy one from one of the stalls to go with your placement card? I think I would be tempted to buy a best in show one lol and parade around with it for a while on my jacket or a best in breed then hijack the group as an imposter lol

Re: Rosettes at championship shows
Lol, unfortunately the best of breed and best puppy in breed do get rosettes and so you can't buy those and sneak in
There is usually a stall somewhere at the all-breed champ shows that have a variety of 1st-5th rosettes that you can buy which have the show details on them. I got a lovely one for Lola when she got 3rd at East of England. They don't tend to have the stalls at all-breed open shows though

Ah well nevermind I had a look at the Crufts Qualifying rosettes, they look great but their a bit expensive for what they are, I still want to get one though or maybe 2 since ole Clova has qualified twice now Any excuse to fill up wall space. Well done you anyways for your 3rd at E of E, I can imagine the Brit Bulldog classes are tough
